We offer a variety of services to fit your aesthetic and wellness goals - please take time to learn about us and what we can assist you with, as well as who will be guiding you. Avalon was created with a long term vision in mind, and integrity at its core. We believe in transparent, fair and accessible pricing for services. We are currently doing remote visits and accepting private patients for in person appointments for cosmetics.
We are committed to providing the best and most compassionate care to our clients, while also not being in a position to need to accept patients who do not reciprocate kindness and respect to staff, but we do hope you'll join us in creating a warm and pleasant space where we can all thrive!
The Team
Amanda T., FNP-C - Owner, Lead NP, Injector
Amanda has been an RN for 14 years and FNP-C for 8 years. Past experience includes float nursing at a Level 1 Trauma Center with experience in med/surg, stepdown, tele, neuro, ER, ICU, burn ICU, trauma ICU, peds and as a hospital resource/crisis nurse. From there she obtained her FNP-C and started at an integrative practice where she learned primary care, aesthetics, and complementary therapies to lifestyle and wellness. She then went back to acute care, working in the ER and Urgent Cares, as well as simultaneously working in aesthetics at Med Spas, Derm offices and privately. Amanda was the lead NP for a new outpatient company and helped open 8 different clinics on central coast. She has also been an Assistant Professor at two Universities for both the RN and FNP programs for the last three years. She has been working with various remote companies as an independent contractor doing weight loss management, hormone replacement, hair loss and treating sexual dysfunction for the last several years. After feeling like the busiest of bees with all these career moves, Amanda decided to make one more transition and open her own company, doing what she enjoys the most! Her inappropriate humor, directness and low tolerance for BS comes from years of working in the ER, as does her ability to get an IV on just about anybody and make injections as painless as possible. Her latest adventure includes getting her a H.I.G.H. certificate to practice horse therapy with any persons interested in healing through horses.
In her free time, you can usually find her with her horse and/or dog, outside somewhere, wine tasting, or with friends and family.
Valerie - Office Manager, Educator
As an educator for 30 years, Valerie is incredibly helpful in creating educational content for patients. She is exceptionally organized and helps keeps the office running smoothly. This is not a skill she passed down to her daughter, Amanda, who has incredible attention to detail, but hates filing those details. So who better to help Amanda keep everything in alignment than the person who has already been doing that for her for years.
Valerie is also getting her Medical Assistant license to increase her skills and take on more tasks within the clinic. She has taught grade school through high school ages and worked with high risk and special education students, trust us when we say she can help you understand just about anything and do so patiently.
You can otherwise find her working on projects, spending time with family, gushing over her grandchildren, or wine tasting with Amanda.
Letty - Remote Support Worker
Part of starting this company was to be able to spend more time with this perfect, yet aging girl. She is a constant home office companion on the remote days and may occasionally chime in on visits with her old lady grumbles and woo woos - which have led to her nickname of Letty the Yeti.
Medical Directors / Consultants
Avalon has a different overseeing physician in the states that still require physician involvement. All are wonderful, supportive, and available if needed, but otherwise allow the owner and lead NP to be the voice of the operation.

At Avalon Aesthetics and Wellness, we treat and prevent signs of aging with great skin care, peels, micro-needling, neurotoxins, and dermal fillers.
Skin Care/Acne
Tailored acne treatments available as well as prescription strength skin care and medications such as retinol or azelaic acid.
Medication Refills
With the shortage of primary care providers we understand that getting medication refills can be difficult. To help bridge this gap we are offering 90 day refills of chronic medications.
